ML: Finally, my first GW story!
Heero: You keep putting us on the backburner, but finally, you give us a starring role.
Duo: Yeah. It ain't fun putting us in those anime crossovers!
ML: Give it a rest, guys. Anyway, this is 1XR, just to let
you know.
Relena: All right! I can spend some time with my Heero!
Heero: Hn.
ML: Typical. Anyway, this takes place a few years after EW, in which both lovebirds (pointing to Heero and Relena) are pretty tight. Anyway, to the important
stuff: I don't own Gundam Wing or the characters. They are owned by Sunrise and Bandai. I also don't own 'Squeeze Me In', since that is owned by Garth
Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Capitol Records Nashville." There. ROLL FILM!

ESUN building (Earth) - Wednesday - 9:45 A.M.
Relena Darlian was checking her schedule for today, and believe the narrator (me) when he says this, she wasn't happy. "I have to do 5 Reports, go to 5 meetings, god! I can't believe this! Not to mention I have one hour lunch break everyday, and that's about it!" Even though her job had a busy work schedule, she sometimes managed to squeeze in a few days off, but when that happened, Heero, who worked down the street with the rest of the pilots at the Preventers HQ, had to work, and vice-versa. She began to think, "Well, time to get with the day."
Preventers HQ - Same day - 10:45 A.M.
Ever since the Mariemaia incident four years ago, Heero had the job of being Relena's chief of security, but today, he had a lot of work to do. Even more than Relena. Same number of meetings, same number of reports to do. Not to mention make a few modifications to Relena's security system. After all, since the incident, Heero didn't want to risk any chances with his girl. He heard a knock on his door, and, much to his dismay, it was Duo Maxwell. "Hey Heero, what's up, man?" Heero just said, "I don't want to talk about it." Duo took a hunch, and said, "Let me guess, it's Relena, isn't it?" Heero said, "Listen, Duo, buddy, if you want to live another day with that braid on, you will not talk about it in my face, in front of the guys, or even in front of Une. Got it?" Duo said, "Sure, buddy, and don't touch the braid." He let go, and went back to work. Duo thought, "Geez. To think after the whole debacle, he'd be tame. But I guess I was wrong. Sheesh."
Heero made the modifications, and was on the way to the ESUN, when he saw Quatre, and was about to say hi. Quatre said, "Hey. Dorothy and me are having a party on Saturday, and was wondering if you wanted to come." Heero said, "I'll talk to you at lunch. Right now, I've got to go and deliver this to Relena." He said, "Ok. Don't forget to give her this, though." Quatre gave Heero Relena's invite to his party. Heero said, "Thanks." The two former pilots went their separate ways. Heero thought, "It would be great to see Relena again, even though it's just business." When he got there, he saw Relena waiting for him at the entrance. She said, "Heero. Good to see you again, darling." He said, "Thanks. Anyway, here's the plans for the security." She checked them over, and said, "Great." The two went back to what he or she was working on, and Heero drove back to Preventers HQ.
When he got back, he found Quatre, and said, "Quatre,
I'm going to that party you guys are having." Quatre said,
"Uh, sure. I've invited almost everybody except Zechs and
Noin. They couldn't make it." Duo said, "Yeah. I wouldn't
expect ole Milliardo to be the party type." Wufei agreed.
"He isn't, and why did Winner give me this. I didn't even
ask for one." Heero said, "It was nice of him to give
you one, Wufei." After that, Heero went back to his office
while Trowa and Wufei went back to their cubicles. Duo said, "So
Quatre, you have a karaoke machine?" Quatre answered, "Yeah.
So?" Duo replied back, "I have this little disc to play
for our little lovebirds." He showed them the disc, and it
contained that Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood song "Squeeze
me in".
Quatre said, "Are you nuts? Heero's gonna kill you!"
Duo said, "At least they'll be together." Quatre thought
about it and said, "Ok. But if you wind up in a coffin, it's
your own fault, man." Duo just grinned, and said, "No
problem." Quatre thought, "Man, does he know how to
pick a bad time to get his ass in trouble."
Quatre's Mansion - Saturday - 7:30 P.M.
Everybody was there, except Une, Zechs and Noin. After dinner, Heero asked, "Well, what's the little surprise, Duo?" Duo replied back, "I don't know what you're talking about, buddy." Relena said, "Yeah. Don't play dumb. You said that you had a surprise for us. What is it?" All Duo said was, "You'll see." He winked to Quatre and whispered, "Let's reveal it." Quatre said, "Now remember, if you wind up in a coffin, I won't be at your funeral." He turned on the karaoke machine, and said, "Hey, can Heero and Relena come up please?" Heero and Relena came up, and Heero wasn't too happy. He said, "Forget it. I'm not singing." Relena said, "Come on! For me?" Heero said, "All right. For you." Duo inserted in the disc, and when Heero saw the title of the song, he thought, "Not that song." But he went with it anyway, since both he and Relena could relate to it when it came to their work schedules

That was enough to send some bodies on the dance floor, dancing in time to the music. Duo and Hilde were probably the most energetic, while Trowa and Catherine had to be the most graceful. On stage, Heero thought, "This is all Duo's idea. I'm gonna kill that guy. I'll do it after the song."

The guests applauded, and Relena asked, "So Heero, how about it? Can you squeeze me in?" He answered, "Yeah. After I kill Shinigami for what he set up!" Duo thought, "Oh crap. Gotta go!" He ran for it, with Heero hot on his tail.
