ìZechs!!î I screamed, but there came no response, only staticÖ Oh no you donít Milliardo, you canít die now, I wonít let you! I forced Wing ZERO to the maximum speed, heading for Hellís Angel (AN: for those who forgot, thatís the name of Milliardoís mobile suit); I quickly found it, or better yet, what was left of it. It was badly beaten up, missing an arm and part of a leg; it was sparking uncontrollably, and it was oblivious that it would blow at any minute.

ìZechs! Answer me! I know youíre still alive! Say something!î I ordered, but again, he didnít reply. I had no choice but to go after him, quickly I glanced over at the still descending battleship, it was still falling rapidly. I cursed under my breath before opening my cockpit and pushing off to Milliardoís. The door was jammed; pulling as hard as I could, it gave a little, and then a little more, till finally it was open enough for me to see and even get inside. There was Milliardo, sitting limply in the piloting seat, blood drenched the side of his face, staining his blonde hair, as the interior sparked and sputtered around him. Quickly, I undid what was left of his restraint belt, tugging him out of the mobile suit, and kicking off to ZERO. I left Milliardo right outside of the cockpit as I climbed inside, and had Wing ZERO pick him up and shelter him with itís massive hands.

ìH-Heero. G-g-ive him h-h-here. Iíll take care of h-h-im.î Trowaís voice crackled over the intercom, I immediately obeyed, then turned to Dragonís Angel,

ìWufei, come on, you and I will have to go to the fortress.î

ìNataku will bring justice to those who are to weak to live in peace.î He exclaimed shooting off, with me close behindÖ

~*~*~*~*~*~(Relenaís POV)

I rushed into the main medical room, fear coursing through my veins,

ìWhat happened?! Whereís Milliardo? Whereís Heero? Are they all okay?!î I demanded. Sally looked over at me, but kept her attention on the patient in front of her,

ìRelena, get out now. Iíll explain it to you later.î Just then I caught a glimpse of my brotherís bloodied helmet and suit laying on chair next to the bed,

ìOh my God!! Sally is he-î I began,

ìRelena I said stay out!!î Sally ordered as Dorothy and Trowa grabbed me, practically dragging me from the room,

ìNO! No! Let me go! I want to see my brother! Let me go!-î

ìMiss Relena, get a hold of yourself! You canít possibly help your brother any like this! Sally is doing all that she can for Mr. Milliardo, but you have to be patient and believe in her!î

ìButÖî

ìDorothyís right, Iím sure heíll be fine.î Trowa replied walking back towards the hanger where his mobile suit awaited to be taken back into the battleÖ

~*~*~*~*~*~*~(Heeroís POV)

ìH---Heero! There is still too much left to destroy, and we canít do it in time before it reaches the earth!î Wufei exclaimed over the console. I cursed, knowing he was right, suddenly Masked Angel appeared next to me,

ìHeero!î Trowa called

ìWhat?!î

ìWe can destroy the fortress before it reaches the earth, but we have to self detonate!î

ìWhat?! No! We have to make it back alive.î

ìWe will,î Quatre replied, as he brought Desert Angel into view, ìthe others have a shuttle waiting close enough for us to get to and get away in before the suits would explode. The explosion of all the suit will destroy the fortress without any trouble.î

ìAnd if they donít?î I asked

ìThen we pray for the best.î Duo imputed from Death Angel, which was not too far away.

ìDo we have any guarantees?î

ìNo, but when do we?î I took in a deep breath, a silent prayer filling my head, ìAlright. Letís do it!î I quickly undid my restraint belt, opening the cockpit; I pressed the switch releasing the self detonation button. Thank you once again ZEROÖ And pressed the button, before leaping from the massive suit, and quickly following a route out of the giant death trap of a fortress, to make it to the awaiting shuttleÖ

There was less than fifteen seconds left till our mobile suits would detonate, and we still werenít to the shuttle. Could we make it to it before the suits exploded? Ten seconds. Eight. Five. Two. Energy waves pulsed around me, forcing me forward, flinging me out of control.

ìAahhhh!!!î I could hear the others cry out over our communicators, and I could feel hundreds of jagged stabs all over my body, before my body crashed against something solid and hard, and a thin crack appeared on the glass of my helmetÖ Just then, I could see Relena. She was smiling at me, reaching out for me.

ìCome back to me Heero.î she whispered; I reached out to hold her, but she disappeared before I could reach her,

ìRelenaÖî I gasped just as everything turned blackÖ
